Opt-in identification only

Parks are shared spaces, so anyone may pass through a frame. But, the only link between a clip and an identifiable person is that person's own account, matched by the GPS data the user explicitly shares during their sessions. Footage that isn't matched to an activated user is never stored long-term. We never use facial recognition, and we never attempt to identify non-users by any method.

Statistics, not surveillance

The parks we partner with may choose to purchase analyses and insights from Hightag regarding how people use their park. We only ever provide insights with minimum group sizes that make singling anyone out impossible. Some parks may also license Hightag footage for their own promotional efforts. In these cases, we deliver footage without names, account info, or any other personal information attached.

Law enforcement is not our customer

We do not provide "back doors" or other special access channels to law enforcement agencies. Any demands for information we receive must survive our review of its validity and scope before anything is released. We challenge overbroad demands, notify affected users where the law allows, and transparently disclose any demands we receive.
Demands we've received to date: 0

You own your footage

Your delivered clips are legally yours—post them, sell them, put them in your sponsor reel. Hightag keeps only the licenses needed to provide our services and any uses we've plainly disclosed.
